ahh... had a good relatively restful weekend.

I have a crap ton of reading to do. *sigh* the life of an english major.

Summer school started for me on Monday. I’m actually taking some pretty interesting courses. Mostly involving ethics or understanding human culture in some way. I’ve got this one professor for two of my 4 classes and he is just a doll. Really he’s an excellent teacher, knows his stuff, makes things interesting and is not too bad to look at.

 

On a philosophic note: have you ever realized that you believe in so many things that you don’t just fit into one category?

 

I mean last year I chose to become apart of the catholic faith, which I do not regret, because well it was the most logical to me and fit my beliefs the best. However, I know that if I told my priest some of the tings I Believe in he would look at me funny. Not scorn me because believe it or not Catholics believe that each person has there own religion so to speak with God that is different form every one else’s.

 

I guess what I get caught up in is that most religions are really all the same. They all teach the same things and have pretty much the same rules to live by so I find it hard to say well I’m a catholic and that’s it.

 

Everyone should be a little bit Buddhists in my opinion. Why? Well because there big stick is that everyone should seek moderation to much of something is bad and to little of something is bad. The world may well just be a happier place if we all practiced this thought.

On a lighter note I ended up last semister with a 4.0.
